VFuel was founded in 2011 by friends and ultra runners in Estes Park, Colorado.
Over several years of research, testing and field use, we developed an endurance gel that does more than give a quick spot of energy — and refuses to add trendy ingredients just for the sake of having them.
We recognized the three things endurance athletes actually ask of their sports nutrition: taste, quality, and performance. Nothing out there truly delivered all three, and we wanted to change that.
The formula was fine-tuned through the science behind each ingredient and real racing — Leadville, Hardrock, Ironman, Bighorn, Bear 100, Rocky Raccoon, and countless shorter races at every distance.
Our lab coats are tech shirts and running shorts. Our lab spans the trails, mountains and open spaces of our back yard.
